Wentworth Point Stage 2 is a Government owned 8ha waterfront mixed use redevelopment site which includes apartments, retail/commercial spaces, 3.9ha parklands, brand-new high school, rowing club and marina.
TBA Urban were engaged to provide an update to the Preliminary Feasibility (PF) including the strategy to facilitate the rezoning and transaction of the site from 2020 - 2021. A key requirement of the project was to optimise development opportunities following the introduction of a high school including updates to the structure plan via a rezoning/amendment to the LEP.
TBA Urban managed stakeholder engagement to achieve alignment across Government. This included the delivery of an Urban Design Workshop involving 25 participants.
TBA Urban have also facilitated the transfer of Transport owner land to Education requiring the drafting of a Heads of Terms and Sale Agreement, Access Licence, and relationship management.
Other key activities include:
- Managing and optimising feasibility
- Procurement of specialist consultants to update the Structure Plan
- Development of a communications strategy, media announcements, holdings statements
- Weekly PWG meetings
- Stakeholder engagement – key government agencies
- Client-side reporting
